What has been your organization’s biggest success over the past year?
During a year filled with uncertainty, labor and material shortages, and price escalations we successfully delivered projects to our clients on time and within budget. Faced with challenges brought on by the pandemic, our staff came together and used creative solutions to solve unique problems that we have never faced before. Over the past few years, we experienced significant growth and opened offices in the Buffalo and Albany areas. I’m very proud of our team for continuing to develop a culture that has allowed us to attract great talent and form long-lasting relationships with our clients and vendors.
What are your expectations for the rest of this year?
We expect the rest of this year that we will continue to face cost escalations in every aspect of our industry that will require everyone to collaborate and bring innovative solutions to the table to successfully complete projects.
What advice would you give somebody just starting out in your industry?
I would advise someone getting into our industry to seek a mentor that is passionate in their role and can share their experiences. I would also encourage them to utilize the vast number of resources within our community. They will find that investing their time and efforts into the community will not only be educational but also very rewarding.
What are your favorite things about Rochester?
My favorite thing in Rochester has to be the people that make our community so great to live in.
