Years in current role: 13

What has been your organization’s biggest success over the past year?

Keller Williams Realty Greater Rochester has grown every year since we opened in 2009 with people, profit and production. In 2021 together with my partner we grew in Buffalo and purchased all the Keller Williams Realty Buffalo market centers. Combining Rochester and Buffalo we have grown to 1,000 agents and leadership with over $2 billion in sales in 2021. We are now recognized as one of the top 200 brokerages in the USA with ambitions to grow to over 2,000 agents and $5 billion in sales.

What are your expectations for the rest of this year?

We will continue to grow as more opportunities are appearing every day for our company and agents. 2022 will have its challenges with a definite shift in the residential marketplace. Rates will have a big impact on appreciation and will hopefully hold values where we are today. Inflation is our biggest concern and with rising gas prices, interest rates and the cost of food, families will have to make choices that we have not had to make in the last 10 years.

What advice would you give somebody just starting out in your industry?

Make sure you interview multiple brokerages as each real estate brokerage is very different. We specialize in training every level of agent from brand new licensed agents to some of the top agents in the country. Look at what the company has to offer in training, office space and reputation. Interview agents at the company you are looking at and make sure there is an energy of success that you surround yourself with. The most basic advice I give everyone that is starting in real estate is make sure you answer your phone and if you are busy make sure you call back as soon as you can!

What is one personal goal you have for the next year?

In 2023 my one goal is that we become the number 1 real estate company in Rochester.

What are your favorite things about Rochester?

I am a lifelong resident of Rochester and have many favorite things, here we go: our four seasons, Lake Ontario, great communities, Marge’s, Zwiegles, Hedges, the Erie Canal, the architecture, easy commutes, great schools, Genesee Brewery, Wegmans, our hospitals, Finger Lakes, great restaurants, our villages, East Ave, Sargent Peppers at Revelry, the entrepreneurial spirit, all of our universities, colleges and community colleges, great golf courses and proximity to winter sports just to name a few.
