LaBella Associates has expanded again, strengthening the firm’s architecture and design division and adding to its presence in the Mid-Atlantic Region with the acquisition of Odell Associates Inc.

Founded in 1940, Odell has a multi-faceted architecture practice with studios in Charlotte and Ashville, N.C., and Richmond, Va.

Odell’s portfolio includes projects in education, corporate, healthcare, residential and sports facilities. Recent Charlotte-area projects include Truist Field, Spectrum Center, The Link at Bojangles Coliseum and Ovens Auditorium, Sugar Creek Station Development, Noda Trailside Community, Queens Park and Center South Mixed Use Development.

“We are proud that a firm of Odell’s reputation and longevity has chosen LaBella as its next chapter,” LaBella President Jeff Roloson said in a news release. “We are excited to add their deep expertise in architecture, interior design, and planning to our team and look forward to working together for the mutual benefit of our employees, clients, and communities.”

Said Odell CEO Brad Bartholomew: “In joining LaBella, Odell clients will experience many new benefits, including greater geographic reach, a deeper team and talent base, as well as services beyond what we were able to previously offer.”
