Co-CEO, LiDestri Food & Drink
What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in your career?
The silver bullet is massive hard work.
What are your hopes for the Rochester community this year?
My biggest hope is for the children of the Rochester community to be able to get back to school full time and for all extracurricular activities to resume with no further disruption to learning and development. As well, I’ve always been a lover of small businesses and the stamp they put on each region. I hope restrictions are fully lifted so that our community can support our small businesses the way they need to be supported in order to thrive.
What do you do to unplug in your free time?
I prioritize self-care as well as deep connections with close family and old friends. That looks like lots of hot yoga with my daughter and chess with my son. Swimming every day it’s even remotely warm enough and skiing whenever the sun shines. I’m looking forward to getting back into tennis this summer and hosting dinner parties post-pandemic.
