Pastor, Spiritus Christi
Years in current role: 8
What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in your career?
All the meaningful things we’re able to do in the world require a dedicated team. So every good leader needs a team of people who can see the vision and own it in partnership to make the world better.
Who have been the biggest mentors in your career?
Rev. Mary Ramerman, Fr. Jim Callan, and Melissa Parish.
What are your hopes for the Rochester community this year?
Given the state of crisis that police community relations is in and its connection to an 1819 policing blueprint patterned after slave patrols, I would like to see a new policing blueprint for Rochester adopted this year to heal those relationships and change our collective experience of public safety.
What do you do to unplug in your free time?
I hang out with my grandson and watch movies or go the gym and workout.
