CEO, Zweigle’s Inc.
What’s been your biggest success?
My biggest success is knowing that I am carrying on Zweigle’s Inc. as a fifth-generation family member. I am proud of the legacy brand that has remained in Rochester for over 140 years. We are proud to be a unique part of what makes Rochester special. At Zweigle’s, we continue to invest in our people, plant and processes so we can ensure our success and growth for the future. Truly, Zweigle’s success and recognition is to be shared by all, and we will continue to create family memories for generations to come.
What are your hopes for the Rochester community this year?
As we look to the future it is impossible not to reflect upon the extreme challenges faced in 2020. Through that reflection comes a profound desire that in 2021 we will begin to heal the wounds of social inequality, strengthen our sense of pride in our community and foster a spirit of collaboration. For it is only through a united front that we will be able to restore hope, rebuild confidence, instill pride and grow stronger as a community.
What do you do to unplug in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my three kids; we play games, watch movies together and have been able to spend extra family time together during the pandemic pause. Regular family meals have allowed us to share what is happening during the day. I also enjoy watching them participate in their after-school activities. I practice yoga on a regular basis, this helps ground me and offers moments of peace and quiet. I enjoy getting together with family and friends via Zoom or in person. I also like to take walks and hikes in warmer weather.
