Follow the students. They have talents, interests, and aspirations that extend far beyond the classroom.
Who have been the biggest mentors in your career?
My Ph.D. adviser, Professor Bede Liu from Princeton University. He is a model of genius, hard work, grace, and humility.
What are your hopes for the Rochester community this year?
Defeat the pandemic and get back to economic development and social justice.
What do you do to unplug in your free time?
Reading, Netflix, singing, listening to live music, hiking with Nancy, photography, and videoconferencing with our children and grandchildren.
