911 center receives national accreditation (access required)

The Rochester Emergency Communications Department, a joint operation of the city of Rochester and Monroe County, has received national accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA). CALEA recognizes excellence in community engagement, policies, procedures, equipment and facilities.
