The Center for Youth announces the following individuals have been appointed to the board of directors:
Miranda Heyward is a manager of accounting and payroll at Regional Transit Service. She previously served as treasurer for the Center for Youth’s associate board.
Kermin Martinez-Hernandez is an associate professor in the department of chemistry at St. John Fisher College. He received his B.S. and M.S. in chemistry from University of Puerto Rico and his Ph.D. in chemical education from Purdue University.
Jessica Naclerio is an attorney at The Foti Law Firm P.C. She has been president of The Center for Youth’s associate board since its inception in 2016. She is a Boston University graduate and earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
William Turner is an assistant professor of African American studies at the College at Brockport. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Nazareth College, his M.A. in theology from Northeastern Seminary at Roberts Wesleyan College and his Ph.D. in human development from the University of Rochester.
Kishawn Medley is a 20-year-old who lives in The Center for Youth’s New Beginning House while attending Monroe Community College. He was born in Jamaica, moved to Rochester at 15 and graduated from Douglas High School.
