Geva Theatre Center’s 2019-20 Fielding Studio Series kicks off with Madhuri Shekar’s “Queen.” Directed by Pirronne Yousefzadeh, the show features two Ph.D. candidates who spent seven years exhaustively researching vanishing bee populations and must decide whether to look the other way at a potential mistake or tell the truth and face the consequences. Show runs through Nov. 24. gevatheatre.org
