The American composer, arranger and producer is best known for being a member of the Beach Boys. Wilson created some of the most treasured records, including nine albums that consecutively hit gold-level status.
“Surfer Girl,” “In My Room” and “Help Me Rhonda” are just a few of the many Top 40 hits that Wilson co-wrote, arranged, produced and performed with his family band.
It was after he released his solo album “SMiLE” in 2004, topping many “album of the year” lists that he earned his first Grammy Award. Three years later, he received the highest artistic tribute in the United States, The Kennedy Center Honor, which was followed by the release of the critically acclaimed ‘That Lucky Old Sun.”
Wilson will perform with special guests Al Jardine, fellow Beach Boys member, and Blondie Chaplin. He takes the stage at 8 p.m. on Aug. 9. dellagoresort.com
