Dances at the Multi-Use Community Cultural Center

Dances at the Multi-Use Community Cultural Center returns for its sixth year offering 10 nights of contemporary dance from nearly 30 different choreographers and companies. Here are selections from the program schedule, which runs from June 11 to 22:

Week 1

  • June 11: Commotion Dance Theater
  • June 12: “A Seed of Desire,” Maureen Gorman and Alex Mockbee
  • June 13: “Remember ME,” Rose Pasquarello Beauchamp and ELECTRIC Grit Dance
  • June 14: Up and Becoming,” (pictured), Ethan Beckwith-Cohen
  • June 15: “24 Hour Dances,” Katherine Marino

Week 2

  • June 18: “Bird on a Wire,” James Hansen, performed by Heather Roffe
  • June 19 and 21: “of its kind,” Hanlon Dance & Co.
  • June 19 and 21: “Grounded Yearnings,” Roy Wood
  • June 20 and 22: “Wolf: A Transformation,” Daystar and Rosalie Jones
  • June 20 and 22: “14 Variations,” Mariah Steele and Quicksilver Dance
