RBJ launches Excellence in Construction & Real Estate awards

With a multitude of development projects continuously changing the landscape of the Rochester region and a competitive housing market challenging local homebuyers, the construction and real estate industries have never been more important to the community.

excellence-in-construction-real-estate_logoThe Rochester Business Journal and The Daily Record will recognize the special importance of these industries with a new Excellence in Construction & Real Estate awards program that will recognize the individuals and companies that are helping to turn Rochester’s potential into reality.

“The construction and real estate industries are a vital part of the Rochester economy, and we are excited to honor the people and companies who make a difference in Rochester,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of the Rochester Business Journal and The Daily Record. “Whether it’s helping to bring a major development project to reality or helping a family buy their first home, the local stars in the construction and real estate industries deserve recognition for what they do for this community.”

Nominations for the Excellence in Construction & Real Estate awards are open now and can be made in several construction and real estate categories at rbj.net/events/construction-and-real-estate/.

  • Interior Design/Staging

Real Estate

  • Commercial Real Estate Agent

Nominations can be made for individuals or companies. Individuals can be nominated for a Rising Star award in either category.

Winners will be announced in September and honored at an awards celebration from 5:30-8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
