Mengel Metzger Barr & Co. LLP announces the hiring of Mary Paul and Jordan Tepfer as tax managers, as well as Kevin Stone as a staff accountant and Omar Chin as technical support specialist. Additionally, Brandon Custer, Jacob Kemp, Emily McCracken, Eric Mrozek and Jay Upadhyaya have been hired as tax interns.

Paul most recently served as tax and financial planning specialist at Nixon Peabody. She has over 30 years of tax compliance and planning experience. She graduated from St. Lawrence University.

Tepfer most recently served as senior tax and financial planning specialist at Nixon Peabody. His responsibilities include delivering tax compliance and planning services to individuals and flow-through entities. He graduated from St. John Fisher College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Stone is responsible for assisting with tax return preparation and special projects. He previously served on the internal audit team at Corning Inc. He earned bachelor’s degrees in accounting and entrepreneurship from Syracuse University.

Chin is responsible for IT support for multiple Mengel Metzger Barr & Co. offices. He is a Monroe Community College graduate with an associate degree in liberal arts, and he also attended SUNY Buffalo.
