CoreLife Eatery is opening its fourth location in the Rochester area on Tuesday with a new outlet at 2600 Elmwood Ave., in Brighton.
The Syracuse-based chain now has 12 locations in New York state, with plans for 300 across the country in the next five years. The company currently has outlets in 10 states; its other restaurants in Monroe County are in Greece, Henrietta and Webster.
CoreLife Eatery features freshly made and assembled salads, grain bowls and soups, aiming particularly at customers who have adopted an active lifestyle and “clean” diet, meaning one with minimal processing and without additives such as sweeteners or dyes.
“There’s a widespread belief that food can’t possibly be both healthy and delicious. CoreLife Eatery’s mission is to debunk that myth,” said Todd Mansfield, partner and wellness champion for CoreLife.
