Mengel Metzger Barr & Co. LLP announces the hiring of Charlie Cosentino and Victoria Richardson as staff accountants and Jessica Jackson as administrative assistant. Jennifer Specht has joined the team as a government audit intern and Jay Upadhyaya and Henry Huang have joined the team as assurance interns.
Cosentino’s duties involve assisting assurance engagements such as testing inventory and preparing financial statements. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from SUNY College at Brockport.
Richardson is responsible for assurance engagements and government audits. She previously served as a client associate at Wells Fargo and as assistant branch manager at Northwest Savings Bank. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Centre College and an MBA from St. John Fisher College.
Jackson answers and directs phone calls, inputs new client information and other administrative tasks. She earned an associate degree in business administration from Monroe Community College.
Specht is responsible for reviewing and assessing risk related to towns, municipalities and schools. She is a student at Roberts Wesleyan College.
Upadhyaya is responsible for assurance projects, and is currently enrolled at St. John Fisher College where he is working on a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Huang works on assurance projects, and is working on accounting and physics degrees at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
