Seneca Foods Corp. to close Marion facility affecting 45 employees (access required)

Seneca Foods Corp. is planning to close its Marion canning facility by the end of the year, company officials said this week. Citing economic reasons, Seneca Foods Chief Financial Officer Timothy Benjamin said 45 jobs in Wayne County will be affected by the closure.
