Pride Month is coming to a close, but the festivities continue with Roc Pride Fest beginning July 14.

Seabreeze hosts the kickoff event, Q-Day, followed by the Pride 5K Run and beach party picnic on July 15.pride4

The opening ceremonies, [Kickoff] in Color, will be on July 16 where attendees will honor the grand marshal and enjoy live performances from the Rochester Gay Men’s Chorus and the Rochester Women’s Community Chorus.

The Playhouse @ Swillburger is hosting a “gayme” night, and if arcade games are not your thing, you can check out the euchre tournament.

On July 20, come out for a pride party pep rally to celebrate identity and community. Following the pep rally is a silent disco with wireless headphones and many music channels to choose from.

The fipride3nal weekend concludes with the pride parade on July 21 and the festival on July 21 and 22. It will be two days full of games, activities, food, beverages, art and live entertainment in Cobb’s Hill Park.

Performers throughout the eight days include: Deborah Cox; Rev. Roger Anthony Yolanda Mapes; Nick & Six; Ada Vox; Charles Emmanuel; DJ Citizen Jane; and Daughters of ArT.
