If you’re looking for a new hobby, look no further. The Rochester Museum & Science Center is hosting a paddle carving course where participants are invited to carve a traditional softwood paddle with edge tools. The seven-hour course will be led by West Hollow Boat Co. owner Patrick Smith. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. rmsc.org
