Turning Stone recognized as a Best Golf Resort by 'Golf Digest'

Turning Stone Resort Casino has earned Golf Digest’s 2018 Editors’ Choice Award for Best Golf Resort in the Americas in the Northeast/New England region.

Turning Stone, located on the Oneida Nation near Verona (Oneida County), features three 18-hole courses as well as indoor golf facilities.

Along with Turning Stone, Golf Digest honored four other Northeast/New England resorts as “best” in this year’s awards, which appear in the May issue: Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, N.J.; Omni Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, N.H.; The Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing on Lake George in Warren County; and Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club in Galloway, N.J.

In 2017 Turning Stone was named an Editors’ Choice Award winner on the Best Travel list.

Turning Stone’s Par 3 course, Sandstone Hollow, and nine-hole course, Pleasant Knolls, are scheduled to open for the season April 13. Shenendoah and Kaluhyat are set to open April 20, with the crown jewel of the resort, Atunyote, opening on April 26.

The resort’s indoor golf facility includes a double-deck, 40-station driving range.
