Frank P. Langley Co. Inc., a stocking manufacturers’ representative in the heating and plumbing industries, has acquired HerLine Technologies Inc. for an undisclosed sum.
Frank P. Langley, with headquarters in Amherst, Erie County, and locations in Rochester and elsewhere, is a growing representative of complementary products including water heaters, pool heaters, sump pumps, boiler feed pumps and pressure regulators, among other things. Based in Lakeville, Livingston County, HerLine represents manufacturers of steam and fluid products, flow meters and heat transfer equipment to customers in Central and Western New York, as well as the Southern Tier.
HerLine was formed by Barbara and Scott Herl in 1992. The two will remain on board to help with the transition until they retire this summer.
“We have worked closely with both Barb and Scott, as well as their manufacturers, such as Spirax Sarco, to maintain customer support and ensure an orderly transition,” said Scott Crego, president of Frank P. Langley. “We are excited to offer a wider range of superior products and services to our customers.”
