Two friends develop T-shirt concept and run with it (access required)

When Mandy Newell began printing funny T-shirts for her daughter and her friends’ children, she did not expect it to lead to her designing a children’s clothing line. Newell comes from a family of boaters, and her father owns a boat called “Amorita.” Newell and many of her friends have kids around the same age, so she began having T-shirts printed locally that read “Future Amorita Crew.”
