A number of nationally recognized antiques appraisers will be on hand Friday for Cloverwood Senior Living’s fourth annual Antiques Appraisal Day.
Alan Fausel, Gary Sohmers and Lisa Ramaci, who have appeared as appraisers on television’s Antiques Roadshow, will provide up to three appraisals per attendee. Local antiques experts Paul Cassarino and Price Prazar also will be on hand to provide appraisals.
Each appraisal costs $10 and all proceeds will benefit Holy Childhood, a local nonprofit organization that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live independent and integrated lives within the Greater Rochester community.
“This is a day we look forward to every single year, and so do the Cloverwood community and our special appraisers,” Cloverwood executive director Andy Trepanier said in a statement. “Together we have raised close to $10,000 for local charities through this event.”
The event will take place at Cloverwood from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 29.
