Del Lago supports Finger Lakes wineries with new purchase

The del Lago Resort and Casino in Waterloo has placed an emphasis on supporting the Finger Lakes wine region with the purchase of 500 cases of wine from two wineries.

The purchases, made from Cayuga Lake’s Thirsty Owl and Seneca Lake’s Glenora Wine Cellars of 250 cases each marks the largest single-day purchase in either winery’s history. The sale totaled 6,000 bottles of wine.

The wine, meant to promote tourism and interest in the regions business economy, will be gifted to high-ranking guests through the month of September.
