Speakers announced for Upstate Unleashed Conference

Speakers for the annual Upstate Unleashed Conference and Venture Ecosystem Awards—presented by Upstate Venture Connect—have been announced.

The event will be held on Sept. 19 at the downtown Marriott Syracuse and is expected to draw over 300 attendees.

Jim Senall, president of High Tech Rochester Inc., and Mario Fallone, a partner with Harter Secrest & Emery, will help spotlight startup companies and resources for entrepreneurs in the region.

Guha Bala and Karthik Bala—Albany entrepreneurs and investors—will be the keynote speakers for the event.

“We’re thrilled to present Jim Senall, Mario Fallone, Guha and Karthik Bala as some of the top CEOs and ecosystem builders in Upstate NY who are changing the future today,” said Nasir Ali, co-founder and CEO of Upstate Venture Connect, in a statement. “They are startup community builders and role models in their fields, and their achievements remind us of the creative business powers that are found throughout Upstate.”
