Howard Hanna tops Rochester market in Real Trends’ Market Leaders Report

August 2, 2017

Howard Hanna Real Estate Services has been ranked No.1 in the Rochester market in REAL Trends’ 2017 Market Leaders Report, officials said.

In 2016 the real estate firm had 10,849 closed transaction sides—more than four times the number of transactions of the closest competitor, the report said.

Last year closed sales volume for Howard Hanna was $1.7 billion, more than four times that of the No. 2 slot.

“Our tremendous success in the regions we serve was again highlighted in the REAL Trends 2017 Market Leaders report,” said Helen Hanna Casey, CEO of Howard Hanna in a statement. “This success is thanks to our outstanding agents, managers and employees who go above and beyond to produce seamless real estate transactions for our clients.”

The firm was also No. 1 in the Pittsburgh market; the Cleveland/Akron/Canton market; the Albany market, the Buffalo market; the Syracuse market; and the Virginia Beach/Norfolk market, according to the report.

Howard Hanna is also ranked No. 3 in the nation with a total of 95,152 closed transaction sides last year in the annual REAL Trends 500 report.
