Capstone earns Great Place to Work certification

Capstone Information Technologies Inc. has joined the list of local firms to have earned Great Place to Work certification.

“We are honored to be recognized as one of the nation’s great places to work,” said Sitima Fowler, co-CEO of Capstone IT, in a statement. “Our employee engagement has developed consistently over time, with each member contributing to a positive company culture. As our employee size grows, our team’s unified goal to provide clients with extraordinary IT support hasn’t changed, but the dynamics of doing so through passionate and caring people is what differentiates us and makes us better year over year.”

The firm joins seven other local companies that have earned the distinction: Dixon Schwabl Inc., Sage Rutty & Co. Inc., Innovative Solutions, the Lifetime Healthcare Cos., Finger Lakes Health Systems Agency and Emerge.

Capstone’s review includes a 98 percent overall great atmosphere and communication, a 99 percent overall in great pride and a 100 percent agreement management is honest and ethical in its business practices, according to a survey.

“We applaud Capstone Information Technologies for seeking certification and releasing its employees’ feedback,” said Kim Peters, executive vice president of Great Place to Work’s Certification Program. “These ratings measure its capacity to earn its own employees’ trust and create a great workplace. Anyone considering working for or doing business with Capstone IT should take into account these critical metrics as indicators of high performance.”
