Advanced Safe & Lock moves to Norton St.

Advanced Safe & Lock Inc. has moved from its longtime Lake Avenue location to a facility on Norton Street.

The move makes the company more accessible to its commercial customers in the city of Rochester, officials said. The company had been located at 1459 Lake Ave. since 2005, when it acquired Town & Country Locksmith’s, which had operated from the location for 23 years.

ASL president John Mallette, a master locksmith for more than 30 years, plans to offer customers “free-key” Fridays through Aug. 1. Clients who purchase one key can receive a duplicate for free.

In addition to its 1077 Norton St. store, ASL has four mobile units to serve customers throughout Monroe and surrounding counties.
