Ontario ARC to hold fair for aging services

Rochester’s aging community in June will have an opportunity to learn more about supports and services for the elderly.

Ontario ARC’s Aging Services will host a resource fair on June 8. Local vendors and organizations focused on providing services to the aging will be available to speak with community members, families and caregivers about available resources in Ontario County and the surrounding communities.

The free event will be held at 3071 County Complex Drive in Canandaigua and runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Participating organizations include 24-Hour Helping Hands, Access Lifts & Ramps, the Alzheimer’s Association, Canandaigua VA Medical Center, ElderOne and others. Representatives from Legal Assistance of Western New York also will be on hand to answer questions about elder law and estate planning.
