Firms honored by Greater Rochester Quality Council

Area businesses this week were chosen for the Greater Rochester Quality Council’s 11th annual Showcase and Performance Excellence Awards.

GRQC, a Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce affiliate, presents the awards to discover, recognize and learn from high-performing organizations.

This year’s award recipients were:

  • Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield, Gold Award, team excellence;
  • Hillside Family of Agencies – Hillside Children’s Center, Silver Award, team excellence;
  • Paychex Electronic Network Services Division, Silver Award, team excellence;
  • Paychex Unified Communications, Bronze Award, team excellence;
  • University of Rochester Medical Center Adult Medicine Inpatient Unit 6-1200, Bronze Award, team excellence;
  • The Acute Psychiatric Service team at Rochester General Hospital, Pathfinder Award, team excellence;
  • University of Rochester Medicine Home Care, Platinum Award, operations excellence;
  • Calero Software LLC, Gold Award, operations excellence;
  • Xerox Corp. LSS Steering Committee, Gold Award, operations excellence;
  • Eastman Kodak Co. EPS Equipment Manufacturing, Silver Award, operations excellence;
  • Eastman Kodak Co. EPS Materials Manufacturing, Silver Award, operations excellence;
  • Camp Stella Maris, Silver Award, operations excellence;
  • Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Pathfinder Award, operations excellence; and
  • University of Rochester Medical Center Healthcare System Delivery redesign, Pathfinder Award, customer excellence.

GRQC is a membership organization that teaches leaders in the business, health care, education non-profit and government sectors to improve organizational performance through training, program presentations and networking.
