Dixon Schwabl Inc. announces the following new hires: Justin Dusett, graphic designer for content marketing; Merritt Ward, account supervisor; Christine DeNering, account supervisor; Jaclyn Garrett, director of client relations; and David Brodsky, account executive, client relations.

The DelMonte Hotel Group announces the addition of Ken Kathan as corporate controller and Bill Ginther as information technology manager. Kathan will be responsible for the accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting and compliance for all financial matters. Ginther will be responsible for the direction, coordination and operation of the IT department.

Kelly Geary has joined Goldberg Segalla’s workers’ compensation practice group in Rochester. She will help employers navigate the workers’ compensation system.

United Way of Greater Rochester announces the hiring of Jan August as donor engagement associate and Laura Gustin as director of system integration and funding. Selma Miles has been promoted to director of technology innovation & integration.

Scott Carruthers has been promoted to practice lead of security solutions at SMP. Jeff Brandt has been named director of managed services. Evan Dekalb has joined the firm as an associate engineer.

Bethany Centrone has been named co-chair of Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC’s school district practice. Centrone concentrates her practice in school law and labor and employment law. Katherine McClung has been elected a member of the firm. She counsels employers in a wide variety of labor and employment law matters.

Laurie Robb has joined Bergmann Associates P.C. as intern architect Level II in the New York buildings team. Matthew Groth has been hired as corporate marketing manager and will lead the marketing department in the creation and execution of strategic marketing plans.

Rochester Regional Healthcare Association Family of Cos. announces the hiring of Jeanine DeFeo as director, sourcing and business development. Lindsay Lavicka has been hired as graphic designer/marketing coordinator. 

Jennifer Hawryschuk has been named vice president, business banker of Northwest Bank. Hawryschuk will be responsible for managing all small business lending activity in the Rochester area, including helping customers finance their business and assisting with their other banking needs.

Gwen Leonardi has joined All-American Home Care as director of human resources. Leonardi will oversee all employee relations management, organizational development, compensation and benefits.

The Sisters of Saint Joseph of Rochester announce that Renee Hiscock has been named marketing and communications coordinator for the office for mission advancement. In her new role Hiscock will manage marketing and communications projects and the annual Sisters and Spirits Gala.

WXXI Public Broadcasting System has hired Lancelot Thomas as chief financial officer. He will manage the financial affairs and operation for WXXI and the Little Theatre, oversee all external financial reporting and audits and manage risk and insurance coverage, as well as the organization’s endowment funds.

David Archer has joined Stantec Inc. as regional corporate counsel. Archer brings more than 10 years of experience to the role and most recently served as a senior associate attorney for Harter Secrest & Emery LLP.

Larry Rabinowitz has joined Forte Capital LLC Wealth Management as a vice president. He brings more than 22 years of experience to the role.

Aileen Shinaman has been appointed associate vice president and general counsel for the University of Rochester Medical Center.  Shinaman will oversee an office of attorneys and staff who provide in-house legal services to the medical center faculty, staff and leadership.
