Xerox adds CEO Jacobson and Motorola chief to its board

Xerox Corp. announced Friday two additions to its board of directors.

Jeff Jacobson, Xerox’s CEO, and Greg Brown, chairman and CEO of Motorola Solutions Inc., have been named directors.

As previously announced, Ursula Burns is slated to retire as chairman at the annual Xerox shareholders meeting in May. Richard Harrington, who has served on the board since 2004, also plans to retire and will not stand for re-election at the meeting.

Xerox this month announced the completion of its separation into two publicly traded companies: Xerox and Conduent Inc. Xerox consists of the company’s document technology business; Conduent is a business process services company.

In Monroe County, Xerox employs some 5,500 workers; Conduent has slightly more than 600 local employees.

Xerox is slated to release its fourth-quarter and year-end financial results Tuesday.
