Northwest Bank names Rochester-area manager

Northwest Bank on Tuesday said it has appointed Todd Schirmer of Hamlin as vice president and Rochester-area manager.
He will be responsible for overseeing four offices in the Rochester area, including operations, lending, product sales and customer service, the bank said.

Schirmer has more than 30 years of experience in banking and financial services, most recently as manager of the Northwest bank office at 860 Long Pond Road in Greece.

He is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and holds a certificate from the Retail Banker’s Association Graduate School.

Founded in Warren, Pa., the bank has 171 branches in New York, Pennsylvania Maryland, and Ohio. Northwest Bancshares Inc. is the holding company of Northwest Bank.
