Per-pupil spending highest in Honeoye

Honeoye spends more per pupil than any other public school district in Monroe and Ontario counties, according to an analysis of data that will appear in the 2016 RBJ Schools Report Card to be published tomorrow.

In 2015-16, Honeoye’s expenditures per pupil were $29,636. Rochester ranked second among the 27 districts in the two counties, spending $28,071 per pupil. The rest of the top five were Naples, $26,955; Wheatland-Chili, $26,542; and East Rochester, $26,389. At the opposite end of the rankings is Victor, where per-pupil spending was $14,366.

In terms of graduation rates for the 2011 cohort, Honeoye ranked 22nd and Rochester was last at 27th. The graduation-rate rankings for the remainder of the top five in terms of per-pupil spending were Naples, 17th; Wheatland-Chili, 6th; and East Rochester, 26th.
