The cost of an undergraduate education is increasing for students next year at Rochester Institute of Technology.
Tuition for the 2016-17 academic year will increase 3.9 percent to $38,024, RIT officials said Friday. The total cost with room, board and various school fees will be $50,842.
RIT leaders noted that the university plans to help students offset the cost with $171 million in financial aid, a 6.6 percent increase over last year.
