Markin tapped by eHealth Technologies as COO

Former VirtualScopics Inc. CEO Jeffrey Markin has joined eHealth Technologies as chief operating officer, eHealth officials said Thursday.

“(Markin) brings a wealth of experience and expertise in health care information technology and operational excellence that will greatly benefit eHealth Technologies,” CEO Ken Rosenfeld said.

A 26-year Eastman Kodak Co. veteran, Markin is a former head of Kodak’s health care information technology group. He served as VirtualScopics’ CEO from 2006 and 2013 and most recently served as Bio-Optronics Inc.’s COO.

"I welcome this opportunity to be part of a company that continues to experience record growth,” Markin said.

He succeeds Greg Foust, who has led operations at eHealth Technologies since 2007 and will be retiring at the end of the year, the company said.
