Genesee launches porter in bottles

Genesee Brewing Co. on Thursday released its Salted Caramel Chocolate Porter in four-pack bottles as part of its Genesee Brew House Pilot Batch series, officials said.

The product was made through a collaboration with Hedonist Artisan Chocolates. It was first created in 2014 as part of the GeneseeTap It Forward social investment program, the company said.

“We wanted to offer the craft beer drinker a true indulgence,” said Dean Jones, brewmaster of the Genesee Brew House, in a statement. “The resulting brew offers a complex flavor profile featuring a rich caramel aroma and flavors that are balanced by a dark chocolate bittersweet finish.”
