5Linx names Faucette as CEO; co-founder Jerabeck steps down

5Linx Enterprises Inc. has named William Faucette Jr. as its CEO, replacing Craig Jerabeck, the Henrietta company said Friday.

Jerabeck steps down after more than a decade in the position.

"This is very good news for our company and the Greater Rochester community," said Jeb Tyler, who co-founded 5Linx in 2001, along with Jerabeck and Jason Guck, in a statement. "It is a brand new day for our company and we expect to continue growing, continuing to expand internationally and continuing to create new jobs in Rochester."

Faucette graduated from Stanford University in 1991, and previously served as chief of staff for the city of Rochester under Mayor William Johnson Jr.

For six years Faucette has served as the company’s vice president of North American sales, the company said. 5Linx is a direct sales company that has more than 100 local employees and several thousand independent sales representatives in five countries.
