Belgian firm acquires Ecovation in Victor

Belgium-based Waterleau recently announced it has completed the acquisition Ecovation Inc. in Victor, Ontario County, and acquired the membership interests of Massachusetts-based Krofta Technologies from Ecolab Inc. Minnesota-based Ecolab was the parent company of Ecovation.

The purchase establishes Waterleau’s footprint for the development of its business in the North American market, officials said. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Ecovation is a key-player in water and wastewater treatment. Its technology portfolio includes solutions for aerobic as well as anaerobic biological wastewater treatment, integrating the complete treatment process.
