The 75/45 gala

The 45th anniversary of Garth Fagan Dance and Fagan’s upcoming 75th birthday will be celebrated at a gala April 25 at the Hyatt Regency Rochester. The evening will feature a dance performance, reception, dinner, dancing, and silent and live auctions (items include a Scott Grove mask made of walnut burl veneer, quilted maple veneer, steel and 24-karat gold, right). Actor Taye Diggs, a School of the Arts graduate, is the gala’s honorary chair. Proceeds support the company’s work.
