Orville’s Home Appliances holds opening in Henrietta

Buffalo-based Orville’s Home Appliances Inc. will hold an opening event at its location in Henrietta on Sunday.

The store is located at 875 Marketplace Drive in Henrietta. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“We experienced such a warm reception and demand for our products and services in the Rochester area over the past 15 months; it was an easy decision to open a second location.  We also are exploring sites for a third store in this market in 2015,” President Mickey Reali said in a statement.

Lucas Goller is manager of 13 staffers at the Henrietta showroom. The independently owned home appliance dealer employs more than 200 people throughout its branches.

The location is the first of its showrooms to offer mattresses. The company plans to add sleep centers to all of its showrooms early next year, officials said.

The company’s first store in the Rochester area opened in August 2013 at 185 W. Main St. in Webster.

The Lancaster, Erie County-based company has stores spread throughout the Buffalo area.
