Media reps to discuss regional economy

The Media, the Economy and the Future is the topic of discussion for the Rochester Downtown Development Corp.’s next Repositioning Rochester Series.

Representatives of local media will give their views of the regional economy and the impact on their businesses on March 31 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the grand ballroom at the Radisson Hotel Rochester Riverside on East Main Street.

Speakers include Democrat and Chronicle president and publisher Ali Zoibi, WHEC-TV president and CEO Arnold Klinsky and Clear Channel Communications Inc. market manager Karen Carey. Norman Silverstein, president of the WXXI Public Broadcasting Council, is the moderator.

The fee is $40 for RDDC members, $45 for non-members, $320 for tables of eight members and $360 for tables of eight non-members. Reservations are required by March 29 by calling 546-6920 or by e-mail at rddc@rddc.org.
