Lori Van Dusen, executive director at the Pittsford office of Convergent Wealth Advisors LLC, ranks 46th among financial advisers in New York State on a list published this month by Barron’s magazine.
Van Dusen is one of four Rochester-area advisors on the list, and is the highest-rated New York advisor beyond the New York City metro area.
Marc Fisher of the Linden Oaks office of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney ranks 61st, Stephen Brown of the Perinton office of Merrill Lynch ranks 72nd and Ahmet Terzloglu of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney ranks 98th.
Van Dusen oversees $4.8 billion in total assets, the list shows. Fisher manages $3 billion, while Brown and Terzloglu oversee $2 billion and $73 million respectively.
The top 45 advisors in New York are based in the New York City area, the list shows.
The Barron’s state-by-state rankings are based on data provided by 4,000 advisors, including assets under management, revenue produced for their firm, regulatory record, quality of practice and philanthropic work, representatives of Convergent Wealth said in a statement released Wednesday.
