Armory headed for the auction block
The Rochester Armory, built on a 10.7-acre lot on Culver Road in 1916, will be auctioned off on Oct. 27.
The auction is for 1 p.m. at the Ebeneezer Watts Conference Center on South Fitzhugh Street. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. The minimum bid is $500,000.
The property includes 71,556 feet of finished space and 7,448 feet of unfinished storage space. It will be sold as is, the New York State Office of General Services Web site states.
An open house is scheduled for 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday. Additional open houses are slated for Oct. 6 and 16.
