Fairport Savings to open Webster branch

Fairport Savings Bank will open a branch in Webster on Monday, bank officials said Wednesday.

The branch, at 1067 Ridge Road East between Holt and Hard roads, is the fourth for the bank. It also has branches in Penfield and Irondequoit, in addition to its headquarters in Fairport.

A fifth branch is planned for Perinton sometime in 2010.

FSB Community Bankshares Inc. is the holding company for Fairport Savings Bank. It ranks 14th with local deposits of $131.5 million on the Rochester Business Journal’s list of banks.
