Franchisees sought for Salsarita’s Cantina

Mexican restaurant chain Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina is looking for franchisees for four eateries planned for the Rochester area in the next two years.
Clear Creek Development LLC, a subsidiary of NOCO Energy Corp. in the Buffalo area, has the franchise rights for Salsarita’s in Rochester. It is leading the search for franchisees, the company said Thursday.
The restaurant menu features made-to-order traditional Mexican foods such as tacos, burritos, nachos, salads, quesadillas and enchiladas.
“Clear Creek Development is bringing the restaurant to the area because they see the need for this unique dining experience and feel that it will fill the void for authentic Mexican fare in and around the city,” Clear Creek general manager Andrew Klie said in a statement.
“It is quickly becoming a favorite with customers nationwide and is expected to continue to grow in popularity. Through our extensive market research, we believe Salsarita’s is a perfect fit for the Rochester market.”
The Charlotte, N.C.-based Salsarita’s Inc. has three restaurants in Buffalo and one in Syracuse and Elmira, with two more soon to open in Upstate New York.
