Mortgage interest rates hit 37-year low

Freddie Mac said interest rates on U.S. 30-year fixed-rate mortgages dropped for a ninth consecutive week, Reuters reported, reaching the lowest level in 37 years. The rates dropped to an average of 5.1 percent for the week ending Wednesday.
