Economist to give annual outlook
Charles Plosser, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and former dean and professor at the Simon Graduate School of Business, will present his 29th annual economic seminar Nov. 27 in Rochester, officials said Thursday.
Plosser, an economist of international distinction on leave from the Simon School, assumed the Philly Fed presidency in August 2006.
He plans to share his views on economic conditions and what can be expected in the coming year. Joining Plosser will be Anthony Chan, managing director and chief economist with J.P. Morgan Private Client Services. Chan will share his economic outlook for New York and upstate. Malcolm Wolcott Jr., president of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. upstate, will moderate the seminar.
