Nazareth College of Rochester announces that Deborah Lupton has been hired as director of human resources. Prior to joining the college, Lupton was director of human resources at Goucher College.

Lisa Gabel has been appointed vice president of marketing for Lifetime Care. In her new role Gabel will be responsible for building relationships with physicians and other health care professionals, as well as with nursing homes and hospitals in the region. She brings 14 years’ experience to the position.
Catalyst Direct Inc. announces that Jill Hamman has joined the company as account director for the Valvoline Instant Oil Change account. Hamman will work with the company’s franchisees to set direct-marketing strategies, manage existing direct-marketing campaigns and develop and implement new programs. She previously spent 14 years with Xerox Corp.

Keri Ossant and Nancy Soehner have joined Karpus Investment Management as operations assistants in the client support department.
Nu-Look Collision Inc. has hired Kristen Roe as an assistant estimator at its Irondequoit location. Her duties will include clerical work and customer service.

Complemar Partners Inc. has appointed Chris Coates as warehouse manager, while Thomas McGory has been appointed as manager of operations. Coates will be responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations and has been with the company since 1991. McGory will be responsible for facilitating all operations activities in fulfillment, packaging, mechanized packaging, assembly and maintenance.

The Bonadio Group has promoted Clayton Clark, Susan Eichas, Andrew Gutman, Christopher Harris, John Knifley, Jonathan Miller and Joseph Peplin to managers in the firm. Clark previously served as a senior in the management advisory services division, while Eichas served as a senior in the audit division. Gutman was a senior in the firm’s audit division, while Harris, Miller and Peplin were seniors in the non-profit/tax-exempt division. Knifly previously served as a senior in the tax division.

Badger Technologies Inc. has hired David Doxtater as senior quality assurance manager, while Dale Minardo has joined the company as senior buyer for the Interconnect Cable division. Ed Hoffman has been hired as supervisor of the Interconnect Cable division. Doxtater brings more than 10 years’ experience in quality management to the firm. Minardo previously worked for Eastman Kodak Co. Hoffman brings more than 15 years’ experience in lean manufacturing and production to the firm.

Nixon Peabody LLP announces that Jeffrey Hawley has joined its intellectual property practice as counsel. Hawley previous was vice president and director of patent legal staff at Eastman Kodak Co.

Cornell University’s New York State Agricultural Experiment Station announces that Susan Brown has been named to the newly created Herman M. Cohn professorship of horticultural sciences.

Martino Flynn LLC has promoted Brad Garratt to creative supervisor. He previously served as senior copywriter. Garratt will be responsible for developing strategic concepts, designing marketing materials and writing copy for a variety of agency clients. He joined the firm in 2000.

Salmin, Celona, Wehrle & Flaherty LLP announces that Gary Edom has been named a partner in the firm. Edom previously was a senior manager in the audit and accounting department, where he will continue to specialize in manufacturers, broker/dealers and service concerns.

The Canandaigua Medical Group has hired Jim Wright as CEO. Wright brings 20 years of experience in the health care industry to the role. He most recently served for nine years as chief financial officer of the Rochester Individual Practice Association.

Erdman, Anthony and Associates Inc. announces that Michael McEntee has joined the firm as a senior mechanical engineer, while Michael Terrano has been hired as an electrical design engineer. Tracey Arend has joined the firm as a CAD technician. McEntee brings more than 20 years of experience to the position, while Terrano has seven years of experience. Arend brings more than 10 years of experience to the role.

Rochester Financial Group, an office of MetLife Inc., announces that Michael
Travers and Kenneth Martens have joined the firm as financial service representatives.

D.H. Ferguson, Attorney PLLC announces the addition of Torger Dahl as counsel. Dahl will expand the firm’s focus on commercial real estate law and financing transactions to commercial procurement/sales transactions, as well as intellectual property and environmental regulatory counseling.
