Lawyer to head First Niagara branch

An attorney and former president of Zweigle’s Inc. distributor White-Hots International Inc. has been named manager of First Niagara Bank’s downtown Rochester branch.
Nicholas Capanna, a resident of Perinton, will head the branch at 8 Exchange St. in the Wilder Building, officials at Niagara County-based First Niagara Financial Group Inc. said today. The grand opening of the branch is scheduled for Thursday.
Capanna received a bachelor of science degree from St. John Fisher College, an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology and a law degree from SUNY Buffalo.
